The Grace Retreat is held twice each year, April 11-15 and November 13-17.
Most of us live from the outside in, scurrying about our lives with effort, judgement, fear and longing based on someone else’s ideas of how we should be, not our own. We have lost the precious connection to ourselves, reacting to life based on our conditioning, rather than responding from our natural insight and inherent wisdom. Only when we see truth and understand our conditioned pasts, can we begin to change and transform.
Judith Johnson and Karen Joyce have been creating retreats together for over ten years and their integrative approach reflects their own personal journeys, life discoveries and teachings.
Combining ancient wisdom disciplines with modern psychology and brain-body techniques, they offer tools whose synergetic effects allow for a heightened understanding of our bodies, minds and spirits.
Mornings are dedicated to silent time, meditation, pranayama and basic yoga. These powerful practices connect the body, mind and spirit, and serve as important preparatory work for the self understanding and energy healing techniques which follow later in the day.
Judith is the developer of psychoneuroenergetics (www.psychoneuroenergetics.net) and has been practicing and teaching internationally for over 30 years. The pne technique uses pressure points to initiate a deep process of integration. Held trauma may be healed, the divine experienced, mysteries unveiled.
Karen will introduce Internal Family Systems and other psychological approaches to self understanding and guide the group in breathing, meditation and movement (www.weargrace.com).
The retreat includes:
6 nights accommodation
3 vegetarian meals per day and snacks
Alkaline water and herbal teas
Morning movement/yoga, pranayama and meditation instruction
Introduction to the IFS psychological approach to self understanding
Instruction and participation in psychoneuroenergetics
Discourses on healthy eating/cleansing processes

The retreat is five full days (6 nights). Once again, we will meet at the beautiful Villa Pietrina, a 17th century country home nestled amongst the olive groves and vineyards of Impruneta, just 11 km outside of downtown Florence. http://www.it.windowsonitaly.com/property/villalapietrina-woi
